In my latest column for GO Magazine, I answered a question from a couple navigating body image struggles together: How do you support your partner without sacrificing your own mental health?

My biggest piece of advice? Have the conversation before either of you is triggered.
Couples should talk openly about their sensitivities, establish boundaries around what support looks like, and find ways to co-regulate that feel safe for both parties, whether that’s cuddling, watching a comfort show, or simply being present.

And remember: supporting your partner doesn’t mean becoming their only source of support. Healthy relationships make room for both partners to care for each other and maintain their own support systems.
