Youth Football and Cheerleading 2013 SIGN UP DATES AND GENERAL INFORMATION May 11th and 18th 9am-12pm at Oakfield Town Park May 14th 6-8pm in the Elba School Lobby Four age groups - Beginner Football and Cheerleading- Ages 6-7, must be 6 by Dec 1st and can’t turn 8 prior to Dec 1st Mini Football and Cheerleading- Ages 8-9, must be 8 by Dec 1st and can’t turn 10 prior to Dec 1st JV Football and Cheerleading- Ages 10-11, must be 10 by Dec 1st and can’t turn 12 prior to Dec 1st Varsity Football- Ages 12-13, must be 12 by Dec 1st and can’t turn 14 prior to Dec 1st Varsity Cheerleading- Ages 12-14 must be 12 by Dec 1st and can’t turn 15 prior to Dec 1st The cost is $90 for either Football or Cheerleading for the first child, and $80 for additional family member. Every new Football Player or Cheerleader needs to bring a copy of their birth certificate to registration. You cannot start practice until a birth certificate is turned in. There is also a mandatory fundraiser of five daily number raffle tickets at $10 each per child. Each family will have a maximum of ten tickets. These tickets will be given at the time of registration. You can either keep the tickets yourself and have a chance at winning $100 on each day in September, or sell them to family and friends. Additional tickets may be sold. Information: Practice Starts July 29th, 4 nights a week (Mon- Thurs) When school begins practice will be two nights a week Practice will be at 6:oo each evening Games will begin at the end of August and played on Saturdays All home games will be played at either Oakfield or Elba Football Field Coaching and volunteer applications can be submitted on the above registration days.
