Customer testimony:

This morning, I went to Kroger and I had both kids with me. When we pulled in, there were two VERY sketchy men standing right next to the door and they watched me like a hawk while I was getting both kids out and walking into the store.

They made me a little uncomfortable but not too bad (not bad enough for me to cause a scene on FB live—I won’t play the “run home and be scared”—you’re getting BLASTED if you’re following me 🤣). Just to be safe, I pulled out my pepper spray/stun gun. Now, what’s interesting is, my pepper spray has a “panic” button that goes off when you push it or when you deploy your pepper spray. Hitting the panic button sends an alert to my emergency contact and tells them I need help and sends them my exact GPS coordinates (I hadn’t ever used it before so I wasn’t sure how it worked)!

When I walked out of the store, I put Eva in her car seat and locked the door. I put the baby in his car seat and locked his door and then I walked around to the drivers side and got in—during all of this, I accidentally hit my panic button because I still had it in my hand.

Matthew and my mom BOTH got the emergency alert with my GPS location. Within seconds, Matthew and my mom both called me to make sure I was okay (actually Matthew was calling me while driving to the location of my GPS).

I know this wasn’t an emergency this time BUT, in the event that something was wrong, I would have had help on the way within seconds of my “protected pepper” notifying them!!!! Now I know how it works and that you can hit the button without using the pepper spray!

We must protect our children! This is disgusting and turns my stomach! Please be aware what you are about to watch is extremely disturbing!

As stated from Mindy Lin, founder of Damsel in Defense:

This is NOT consent. This is COERCION. My passion to protect starts with kids. Children trust us as adults to care for and protect them. The devil uses perpetrators like this to leverage their role and manipulate them into their own abuse. 'I am pleasing you' becomes 'please me', becomes 'you should please this person' as well. Our children need us to make noise about the things that SHOULD NEVER BE CONTROVERSIAL. There should be zero justifying. Zero identification conversation. NOTHING. Just prosecution to the fullest. End of story.

There is so much noise and opinion in the world right now. I selectively choose to use my volume for topics like this. I've written the emails, had phone calls with Attorney Generals, talked to prosecutors, reported to law enforcement.

If you see something, don't just say something by sharing it to shame them. Report it to the authorities (not social platforms) so that action can be taken and these monsters can be caught before it is taken down. Get mad over, get sick over it, but please get motivated to do something about it as well.
