A rare night alone in the dojo tonight. Solo weapons training and Zazen.

The first couple of years when we first opened, it was just me practicing alone. Then one student came and then another, and another and so on. Now every class has students.

So a quiet dojo for ones own practice is a rare and precious thing these days.

We had the pleasure of hosting Michael Malitsky Sensei last night who taught a wonderful class on timing and kuzushi. It was good to have his dynamic energy and sense of humor in our dojo.
