After a nail biting 7-8 loss to Union Grove Thursday our season came to an end in the Sectional Finals. But we have a lot to be proud of going 22-7 against a lot of great teams as well as tying the OCHS 2017 team record for season home runs with 29, and crushing the 2023 season team record for walks at 112. We are grateful for the growth our players have seen and for joy they had playing with and for each other. There was definitely not a shortage of fun this season!
We have to say thank you to all the fans who filled the bleachers in the cold, the hot, the rain, and the sunshine. Your presence makes every play more meaningful to our players.
And a huge thank you to our sponsors and to all those who donated to our hit-a-thon fundraiser this year. Because of you we were able to provide the players and the program with the tools they need and an experience they will never forget, we could not do that with out the support of our community.
And while we say good bye to our two seniors, we can't do so until we relish in their accomplishments over the last 4 years. Rita and Kennedy we wish you all the happiness and success life can bring! GO KNIGHTS!
