I’ve been involved with sports my entire life. I’ve played club, high school, collegiate and I’m continuing to play both recreational and competitive sports. I’ve been coaching soccer for nearly 20 years, at the high school level for 8 years. My daughters are amazing athletes in their own right and continue to define themselves as competitors and respected teammates. I’ve combined my passion of helping people live happier, healthier lives as a mental health counselor with that of athletics. Now helping athletes, or really anyone who is in competitive environments, work on their mentality, their focus, their composure while stabilizing confidence is rewarding and vital toward the longevity a person has in their discipline. Doesn’t matter if you’re an older “experienced” athlete like me trying to improve your performance in your local league, or you are that younger, ambitious athlete vying for the starting position, get recruited to that next level or a professional athlete looking to gain that edge in order to rise above the cream of the crop. Working on your mental game is crucial to improving performance and competing at your best. Having a mental game coach in your corner helping you build mental resilience could be the puzzle piece your missing to getting what you want or achieving the results you have been working towards.
