🐯 TIGER TUESDAY | START THEM YOUNG! 🥋

Teachers often ask us:

“Why are your students so far ahead?”

The answer is simple.

They started YEARS ago.

Some of our students started at 3, 4, 5, and 6 years old.

Our Tiny Tigers weren’t just “playing martial arts.”

They were building a FOUNDATION. 🧱

🥋 Learning fundamentals
🧠 Developing focus & discipline
💪 Building coordination & body control
🔥 Developing confidence
👊 Learning age-appropriate self-defense
❤️ Learning to listen, work hard, and never give up

And when those Tiny Tigers grow into our older kids’ classes…

IT SHOWS.

They already know how to move.

They already know how to listen.

They already understand the fundamentals.

And they already have the confidence to step onto the mat, learn, and compete.

They aren’t starting the race at 7 years old.

They’ve been training for it for YEARS. 🏁🔥

Parents, don’t make the mistake of thinking your child is “too young” for martial arts.

Starting young isn’t putting them in too early.

It’s giving them a head start. 🚀

The skills they develop at 3–6 years old can become the confidence, discipline, focus, coordination, and perseverance they carry into childhood and beyond.

🐯 START THEM YOUNG.
🧱 BUILD THE FOUNDATION.
🔥 WATCH WHAT HAPPENS.

THIS is why we do what we do. ❤️🥋

SENSEI SAYS:

BE PREOCCUPIED WITH FAILURE.

Not because you should expect to fail—

but because you should be more afraid of failing to learn from it.

Study your failures, Analyze your mistakes, Understand what went wrong, Then come back better.

Successful people don’t avoid failure, They become students of it.

Every failure contains information.
Every mistake contains a lesson.
Every setback can become preparation for your next breakthrough.

Don’t run from failure. Study it.

SENSEI SAYS:

Garbage, in the right place, can become energy and fuel.

Manure can become fertilizer.

Overgrown grass can become mulch.

And a person who once made bad choices can become a CEO, leader, mentor, or someone who changes lives.

You aren’t useless.

Maybe you’re just in the wrong place, surrounded by the wrong people, or being viewed through the wrong lens.

Don’t let your current circumstances convince you that you have no value.

Sometimes, what looks like waste is simply potential waiting for the right environment.

SENSEI SAYS:

IT’S IMPORTANT TO REMAIN FRIENDLY WITH EVERYONE—BUT REMEMBER, NOT EVERYONE IS YOUR FRIEND.

Be respectful, kind and approachable.

But don’t confuse being friendly with giving everyone access to your life, your trust, or your inner circle.

You can have a good heart and still have boundaries.

Trust wisely. Choose your friends carefully.

KARATE QUESTION

Hey Karate Practitioners, Teachers & Competitors

Let’s say a Black Belt competitor steps up, introduces their kata, and clearly states:

“I will be performing a traditional Shotokan kata.”

They begin their performance… but instead of performing the traditional Shotokan version, they perform a Taekwondo version of a kata/form with a similar-sounding name.

Should that competitor be penalized?

Is it:

A: No penalty — the techniques and performance should be judged regardless.

B: Yes — they announced one form and performed a different form.

C: A deduction for accuracy/technical error, but not necessarily a major penalty.

D: Depends on the tournament rules and judging criteria.

What would YOU do if you were the judge?

👇 Drop your answer: A, B, C, or D — and explain why.
