Public Service Announcement – Red River Cryptids

The Red River Cryptids organization would like to formally announce that we have made the decision to withdraw from participation in the NFA.

This decision was not made lightly. It reflects our commitment to building a stronger, more sustainable foundation for our program—both on and off the field.

At this time, we are actively working to establish a structured leadership board composed of dedicated individuals and players who value accountability, discipline, and team-first culture. Our focus is to create an environment where expectations are clear, standards are upheld, and every member is held to a high level of responsibility.

Moving forward, the Cryptids will be prioritizing a full organizational rebuild—emphasizing player development, team chemistry, conditioning, and long-term stability. Our goal is to return stronger, more unified, and structurally sound in every aspect of the organization.

We appreciate the continued support from our community, players, and supporters during this transition. Further updates will be shared as progress continues.

We are looking forward for the 2027 NFA season!

Game Update – Red River Cryptids

Falcons 34 - Cryptids 14
Game called at Half Time

Yesterday, the Red River Cryptids traveled to Pacific, Missouri to face off against the Missouri Falcons. Our team fought hard throughout the game, but unfortunately we came up short after several player injuries affected our roster during play. We do apologize we had some technical difficulties when it came to stream the game and our team is currently working on fixing that issue.

This game will not impact our conference record, and we remain focused and motivated as we move forward through the season.

We would like to extend a big thank you to the Missouri Falcons organization for hosting us and allowing us the opportunity to compete.

Most importantly, we ask everyone to keep our two injured players in your thoughts and prayers as they begin their recovery. We are wishing them a safe and speedy return to the field.

🚨 PSA: TEAM UPDATE 🚨
Red River Cryptids

We want to keep our supporters, players, and community informed regarding a current situation affecting our team.

Unfortunately, an issue involving our official uniforms has been ongoing since prior to the start of our season. At this time, our uniforms are currently being held in customs due to circumstances beyond our control.

Despite this setback, the Red River Cryptids organization has taken immediate steps to ensure our team remains fully prepared. We have secured backup uniforms so that our players can continue competing without interruption.

We also want to make it clear that our travel plans and game schedule remain unchanged, including our commitment to competing outside the state of Oklahoma.

Our organization remains focused on moving forward, competing at a high level, and representing Nowata and our supporters with professionalism and pride.

We appreciate the continued support from our community, fans, and sponsors.
