The Vytis Sports Club Annual General Meeting (AGM), will be held:

📅 Date: Sunday, 2nd of November
🕒 Time: 1pm
📍 Location: Lithuanian House, 6 Eastry St, Norwood.

While 2025 is not an election year, new committee members are welcome if you are interested in having a positive impact on our club and its activities.

Whether you have new ideas or simply want to support the club; every contribution, big or small, makes a difference!

What an incredible week it has been! The Adelaide Vytis Sports Club has received many kind words following the 72nd Sporto Svente but none of this could have been accomplished without the hard work of many amazing individuals. I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the following people:

Geoff Vaitkus for running the darts night, leading our men's team and helping throughout the week.

Darryl Vaitkus for tirelessly grilling sausages (over 200 throughout the week!) and providing support throughout the week.

Glenn Domeika for overseeing the billiards event, and Chris Nygaard for his assistance on the day.

Eugene Pocius for organizing the golf event.

Ruta Sankauskas for introducing orienteering to this year’s Sporto Svente.

Al Sankauskas for running and coaching the volleyball competition.

Peter Gustafson for his thoughtful suggestions for junior events and running the U/12 basketball.

Krys De Lisio and family, and Aldona Bagusauskas for opening the bar at Lithuanian House all week long during our events.

Saba Zia for the fantastic logo designs on our t-shirts, badges and glasses.

Alex Talanskas for his constant support during the preparation stages.

Jarrod Cresp at ConnectRef for organizing our basketball referees with professionalism and care.

Ozloms for providing the fantastic t-shirts that added so much to our spirit!

And, of course, a huge thank you to all the participants! Your competitive spirit, enthusiasm and dedication to our sporting community have made this Svente a true joy to organize and be a part of.

In place of tomorrow's Rinktine game will be an U/18 All stars game to celebrate our juniors that participated in the 72nd Sporto Svente! Then, on New Years Day the Adelaide Vytis Sports Cluub will be cooking another BBQ!!
