Not too many sports will have you compete against a workout partner/friend. 1 on 1.

Wrestling is a sport where I see athletes sacrificing time, meeting up with there friends to practice. Friends they might have to wrestle.

I used to see this at The Barn a lot with the lightweights rolling against each other. Agreeing to get better and meet in the finals.
Some met in the State finals. Ironman finals. It works.

Drilling with someone that you know will be in your bracket is a different kind of toughness.

I am hoping to see more of this healthy environment in the future.

Thank you Avery and Jersey for inspiring the youth and local wrestlers! What you both did wasn't easy, but certain challeges in life will be easier from it!

It really is a privilege to witness the battles from you both!

These kids pushed through a very tough practice today. I am proud of all of wrestlers that were here for this! Especially the ones who did pull ups after practice without being told!!!
