ROOT of FIVE art​ services include Henna, Face Paint, & Make Up body art, for all ages! We use all natural henna paste, and practice a combination of traditional & modern designs using Indian, Arabic and Moroccan techniques. All our Face paints are organic, non-toxic, hyper-allergenic products, and our designs range from small flowers, butterflies and sports balls, to fully covered, detailed faces

. Our Make Up services specialize in fantasy & theatrical looks, but can be provided for any of your event needs. Each service is provided with passion and quality for any size event, and can be integrated together to create unique custom work. ROOT of FIVE uses Hip Hop culture as a fundamental tool and reference in all of our work specifically in the fifth element of Hip Hop: Knowledge, which highlights the importance of empathy and authenticity in the arts. The fifth element reminds us that culture, community, history and identity are the core of all our artistic experiences.

We were never meant to do this alone.

The Village Gathering is a free, community-centered outdoor circle for mothers, solo mamas, caregivers, and anyone who's been craving real connection and a little more village in their life.

Bring your kids. Bring your exhaustion. Bring your softness. There's space for all of it here.

We'll move our bodies together, sip some tea, and then do the thing we don't do enough... sit in a circle and actually ask each other:

Henna and face painting will be flowing throughout. Kids are fully welcome and the playground (& sprinkle pad!💦) is right there.

This is not a networking event. It's not a polished wellness experience. It's just people who want to feel less alone- gathering.

Henna & body are are the sweetest way to add something special and unique to 2026 prom and graduation season. Book an appointment to get your henna applied about 72 hours before yours special event in order to get the deepest stain. I can do any custom design you would like. We can even do a follow up appointment to add embellishments the day of! 🌿💅🏽
