PERSEVERANCE.💪🏻🥎❤️🖤

The best word to describe today.

These girls gave it their ALL until the very end in both games today. They showed true sportsmanship from the first pitch to the last. They were great athletes, amazing teammates, and showed GRIT every at-bat and every play in the field.

We entered this tournament to see what these girls could do in a game setting—and they gave us SO much to learn from. We got to see what could potentially work, what we need to tweak, and, most importantly, what we need to hit hard on during our upcoming practices.

From Day 1, we've preached to these girls and families that we want a TEAM-FIRST mentality. It's not about you. It's not about me. It's about US.

We win together.
We lose together.
We learn together.
We grow together.

And today, we got exactly that from our entire team—players, coaches, and families.❤️🖤

We're still learning each other. We're building bonds, trust, and confidence. And today, all of those things got a little stronger.

Now we have the next two weekends off to put in the work, continue learning, and get better and stronger TOGETHER.

We got better with every play.
We got better with every at-bat.
We got better with every inning.

The pieces are starting to come together, and we cannot WAIT to see what happens when they all click.

We know what these girls are capable of.
We know what they're working toward.
And we know what they CAN and WILL accomplish together.

I think we were all a little too busy soaking up the day together to remember to take many pictures! 😂 But honestly, yesterday was SERIOUSLY THE BEST DAY! ❤️🖤🥎

Lots of swimming, even more laughs, SO much delicious food, and the best kind of team and family bonding! 🏊‍♀️🍔❤️

A HUGE thank you to the Schmelzle family for opening your home to all of us and for providing and cooking all the meat. We truly appreciate your hospitality and everything you did to make the day so special!

And to all of our families— thank you for showing up, bringing food, helping out, and making this such a fun and memorable day for the girls. We had SO MUCH delicious food thanks to everyone who contributed! ❤️
