Demand Command Softball is looking for dedicated athletes who are ready to compete, grow, and be part of a program built on teamwork, hard work, and passion for the game!

📍 North Vernon City Park
📅 July 27th and 28th from 6pm to 9pm(only need to attend one day)
🥎 Ages 8U–16U

The girls are headed to Shelbyville and ready to compete! 💪🥎

After lots of hard work, practices, and preparation, it's time to put it all on the field. These girls continue to show what it means to battle for each other, play with heart, and never back down from a challenge.

I’m sure we’re all feeling the aftermath today of surviving a long tournament weekend 😅🥎

But here’s a quick recap of some of the silly moments from our weekend at the fields…

Smiles, laughs, dancing, and best of all — Coach B keeping his promise and hitting the sea lion after the girls’ bracket win Sunday morning! 😂🦭 (videos in the comments 😉)

This is about so much more than just a game. 🩵

Some weekends are just off weekends on the field. It’s something every team will face at some point — and this weekend was ours.

Friday was cold and rainy, but no excuses… the energy just wasn’t there. We continued to struggle at times yesterday and today too, but that’s all part of the learning curve in this game. Softball is such a mental sport, and sometimes the hard moments are the ones that teach us the most.

What made this weekend special wasn’t just the final scores — it was the smiles, the laughs, and the way these girls continued to stick together through adversity. If you could’ve seen the joy they still had together yesterday and today, it would’ve made up for every hard moment on the field.

We are beyond proud of the win the girls got this morning, but even more proud of the resilience they showed all weekend long. After tough at-bats, errors in the field, and frustrating innings, they kept encouraging each other, hyping each other up, and continuing to battle. That teamwork and support for one another was amazing to watch.

We have to remember that getting down on ourselves doesn’t help us grow — learning from these hard games is what makes us mentally stronger the next time we step on the field.

Let’s continue reminding our girls at home:
If you make an error, shake it off and get the next one.
If you strike out, shake it off and come back stronger your next time in the box.

That’s how confidence is built. That’s how toughness is built. And that’s how teams grow. 💙

Happy Mother’s Day to all our moms and grandmas who help keep this team going round! 🌸🌷🩷

Blessed is truly an understatement when it comes to how we feel about our team’s village.

The carpools, snacks, encouragement, love, and guidance you provide for these girls never go unnoticed. We see the early mornings, the late nights, the long work weeks, and the endless running around — yet you still continue to show up for these girls day after day, weekend after weekend at our tourneys.

Thank you for being their biggest supporters, loudest cheerleaders, and safe place through every win, loss, practice, and tournament. Your sacrifices, dedication, and love help shape not only better athletes, but better young ladies as well.

We are beyond thankful for each and every one of you. 💙

Resilience.

That’s the word that always comes to mind when I think about this team.

Physical. Mental. Emotional. Social. These girls show every type of resilience every single tournament.

They’ve faced tough games, rough at-bats, hard plays, and moments where the struggle was real. But through it all, they keep fighting. They keep lifting each other up. They keep pushing through.

Since August, this team has come SO far. They are grinding. They are working. They are competing. And every time they step on that field, they prove you can’t count them out.

Their time is coming. They’re making a name for themselves — together.

The girls take the field for their first game of Bracket Play at 10:30 tomorrow morning‼️

Send them all the good luck as they can hopefully work their way through the bracket tomorrow!

They have played so well as a team all weekend so let's keep that momentum tomorrow!! Help fill the stands and cheer these girls on tomorrow morning at Dunn Stadium!

Our girls are hitting the field tonight at 6 to take on Indy Chaos then back at it at 7:10 against the Braves!

Let's bring the bats and energy tonight ladies and get us some wins!!
