AND THE 2ND OVERALL PICK IN THE 2026 MLB DRAFT IS…

Fort Worth Christian SS Grady Emerson was selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the first round with the second pick in the draft. He was the first high school prospect taken off the board, and he joins elite company as the ninth player in Texas high school baseball history to be drafted as the second overall pick (stat courtesy of on X).
