What an incredible weekend at our Girls Day Clinic!
Over two days, our athletes challenged themselves through power skating, puck skills, offensive and defensive concepts, college preparation, nutrition, mental performance, leadership, and recovery—all while learning from experienced collegiate players who are passionate about growing the game.
Coach Arina Jusczak and Coach Cheyenne Koop brought more than just hockey knowledge to the ice. They shared the lessons, habits, and mindset they’ve gained throughout their playing careers, helping young athletes build confidence, compete with purpose, and believe in what’s possible.
We created more game-like situations, increased competition, and opportunities for individualized coaching and mentorship. The result was an amazing weekend of learning, hard work, and growth both on and off the ice.
Thank you to our athletes and families for investing in the future of girls hockey in Alaska. The future of the women’s game is bright, and we’re proud to help build it—one player at a time.
