hey all! been awhile since i’ve gotten on here, i do plan on being a little more active this off season!

after about 2 months of rainouts, heat advisory’s, and a wedding; i can confidently say i am ready for some R&R (rubbin & racin)😉

unfortunately we just haven’t been able to hit the track. BUTTT just know, when we do we’re comin in hot!

next stop: LCR july 28th, we’re goin TOPLESS!

ran LCR last night with the same bad luck we always manage to carry.

i went straight backwards in the heat, i kept blowing my tires off and couldn’t seem to find any traction. zane had some engine problems and pulled off.

feature time i started on the front row and again, went straight backwards. ran my line for a good amount of time. after some back and forth NEVER ending bu****it with another driver, i finally got some ground and comin into the corner, got dumped. i ran 7th for the rest of the night. z ran some of the race but ended up having to pull off with the same engine issue.

not how i wanted our comeback to go, with mechanical issues, driver issues, and even a generator that almost started the whole toter/trailer on fire. ended the night with some much needed fan time!

we’ll be back, we’ll be better. thank you for your support! have a happy fathers day!

it’s been quite some time since i’ve felt like a driver, but i can confidently say i’m right there after saturday’s race night.

sprints were down and we had more cars than usual, so we jumped straight into the heats; i fell back super quick and wasn’t exactly proud of my finish, which was 4th. zane fell back but made his way back up and placed 3rd, he mentioned after then that he had a pretty good vibration under his car. zane, dad, and the crew looked into that during intermission.

in the feature i started 2nd row inside. zane started 3rd row outside. we went green and i made my way to 2nd. i held 2nd for about 5 laps until a caution. once the caution happened i got passed and was sitting 5th. i held 5th for a bit and dropped back to 7th after another caution. i ran 7th for a lot of the race and ended up going in too hard and hittin the guy in front of me, causing myself to spin, and 2 others (zane included) to collect me. zane pulled off afterwards due to the vibration. i started 7th again and made my way up to 6th for the checkered.

feeling pretty good about myself and my driving, i’ve never been able to start up front and hold my spot up front in a big car until now. i grew some balls this raceday and i’m feeling like im soo close to better finishes each weekend. takes a lot of time and practice to be able to drive one of these things, something i never would’ve expected. hopefully zane can get some better luck next raceday, and we’re hopin for some better finishes coming soon. congrats to all that finished well last weekend, and as always; thank everybody for their support!
