Let me introduce myself. My name is Danny Acker. I am the Executive Director of “Takin it to the Streets”, an outreach ministry, and nonprofit organization, offering referral services to families of underserved men, women and children since August 2007.
For the past five years our ministry has supported the community in bringing awareness to health issues, employment (for ex-offenders), Battered Women & Children, HIV-AIDS, GED, Housing Assistance, (just to name a few of our participants) under one roof with a common goal. Our goal is targeted toward providing and training our citizens to become productive citizens of the community.
This year in expanding our efforts to host our 6th Annual Health and Awareness Fair, our objective is to reach a larger number of people. Our previous efforts were held to a minimum cost due to charitable donations. Due to economic challenges our outgoings have reached an all time low.
Takin it to the Street Outreach Ministry needs your support. Currently we have volunteers in place to perform the necessary ground work however your financial support can assist with other important areas to ensure that all needs will be taken care of. No charitable donation is too small.
