I apologize for not posting anything concerning Ginny Davis 5 k for 2020. My siblings and myself
Have had communication concerning what to do this year with regards to a race. After considering all things involved we have decided not to have the race this year. As with any event it takes a lot of planning to have a a first class 5k. The planning for the event settled on certain people’s shoulders and and medical issues caused a strain this past year for those involved. Another consideration was that we were having trouble getting locals to get involved. Turn out for the race by locals was
Minimal. There was some support from residents of the area and for that we thank you.
In 7 years we donated almost $10,000.00 to local organizations to help the area of North Lewisburg. We thank all the supporters over the years that help made the race a success.

To all that attended or donated to the Ginny Davis 5k/walk this year. I wrote a check today to Cancer Association of Champaign County for $1500.00. With other contributions prior from donors we should be close to a total of $1700.00. Totals for 5 years of donating to CACC would be $7700.00 Hope to see you all next year and hopefully we will break the 10 thousand goal. Thanks so much to everyone who attended and donated
