Hey Colts Fans,

Our players, coaches, and families are still working hard to finish the 25-26 season on a high note with two tournaments to go, one in Brown City this weekend and our final tournament in Cass City the following weekend.

However, we have heard some questions start to arise about next season, and as a result, we have the following information on the attached graphic.

This flyer is geared towards players who will be 9 years of age or younger before the May 1st deadline. If they turn 10 after May 1st, they would still be able to participate on our 9u Colts team.

⚾️ TOURNAMENT UPDATE ⚾️

The bats were HOT today! 🔥

These boys came ready to play and it showed all day long! They kicked things off with an incredible 21-4 WIN in game one, including TWO home runs! 💣⚾️

Game two was another hard-fought battle. The boys pushed until the very end and only came up short by 4 runs. So much hustle, heart, and teamwork on display today!

We are so proud of how much this team continues to grow every time they step on the field. ❤️💙

Back at it tomorrow morning for more baseball! ⚾️🐎

⚾️ IT’S TOURNAMENT DAY AGAIN! 🐎

Our 8U boys are back at it today for another tournament and we couldn’t be more excited to watch them hit the field! These boys have been putting in the work at practice, learning, growing, and continuing to build as a team every single week.

Win or lose, we are proud of the effort, hustle, and heart they bring every time they step onto the diamond. ❤️💙

Good luck today boys — play hard, have fun, and make some memories!

Last weekend, our 8U Colts took on their second tournament — and let’s just say it came with a little bit of everything. Between schedule changes and the constant eye on the weather, we weren’t even sure we’d get to play. But when the time came, these boys showed up ready. ⚾️

We faced some tough competition and came up short in both games, but the scoreboard doesn’t tell the full story. There were great plays, big efforts, and yes… some learning moments too. Every inning gave us something to grow from.

What matters most? These boys didn’t quit. They kept their heads up, supported each other, and kept pushing through every challenge thrown their way.

We’ve been back at practice this week, putting in the work, building skills, and getting ready for the next opportunity. Watching this group grow — not just as players, but as teammates and individuals — is something really special.

And a big shoutout to our coaches… the perfect balance of holding them accountable while still building them up. That kind of leadership makes all the difference.

On to the next tournament,

Tournament Update ⚾️

Tough day on the field, but so much to be proud of!

Game 1 we faced a very strong Hit Dog team and came up short 9–0. Logan and Samuel both had solid pitching performances and battled every inning against some tough hitters.

Game 2, we played another strong team in the Lakeside Devils and fell 5–1, but we scored our first run of the year! Huge milestone, and the defense helped us stay close.

Game 3 vs. the Oxford Diamond Dawgs was our most exciting one of the day. We were down 6–1 and rallying hard in the last inning when time ran out and the result was 6-4. The comeback was in motion and the fight these boys showed was incredible.

The scores may not reflect it yet, but the growth, effort, and heart absolutely do. We’re learning, improving, and competing harder each game. Proud of this group for never quitting and continuing to battle every pitch.
