Yoga With DiLynn

Yoga With DiLynn I walk the spiral path of yoga and magick, weaving breath with intention, love with courage, and healing with wisdom. Hi! I'm Di.

Sacred Spiral Flow is my offering—a circle where all are welcome, and where the light of community outshines the shadows of fear. I'm a 40-something wife and empty nest mom of three. I'm a disabled veteran, who deals with ptsd from sexual trauma. I want to help others the way I was helped. Yoga has changed my life, and I truly want to share that with others. My goal is to become a trauma informed yoga instructor in the next two years.

Many of us spend so much time carrying responsibilities that we forget what it feels like to rest.

Tonight's Midnight Mass is an invitation to pause.

To breathe.

To reconnect.

To release one thing you've been holding that no longer serves your well-being.

Join us as we welcome a new day with intention and compassion.

This week we're working with the Sanskrit word Saucha.
While often translated as cleanliness or purity, Saucha is really about creating supportive conditions.
Making room.
Creating space.
Clearing what no longer serves.
Over the coming week we'll explore how physical, mental, emotional, and energetic clutter influence our wellbeing.
Because sometimes the first step toward healing isn't adding something new.
It's making room for what already matters.
What area of life feels crowded right now?

The body carries emotional stress physically whether we acknowledge it or not.
Stress becomes muscle tension.
Fear becomes shallow breathing.
Overwhelm becomes nervous-system dysregulation.
Chronic emotional labor becomes exhaustion.
And honestly?
Many people are functioning while deeply disconnected from how much their bodies are actually holding.
Yoga invites us back into awareness.
Back into relationship with the body.
Back into listening before collapse becomes unavoidable.

Yoga asks us to become conscious of how we spend our life force.

Not just physically.
Emotionally.
Mentally.
Spiritually.
Energetically.

Every relationship costs energy.
Every stressor affects the nervous system.
Every unresolved tension asks something from the body.

And honestly?
Many people are functioning far beyond sustainable capacity while treating exhaustion like normal life.

But yoga was never meant to teach us how to ignore ourselves more efficiently.

It was meant to deepen awareness, relationship, and care.

Where does my nervous system feel most overloaded lately?
What signals has my body been sending me that I may have ignored?
How do I usually respond when I notice exhaustion?
What rhythms or routines help me feel grounded?
What would sustainable wellness actually look like for me?

Yoga philosophy is not about perfection.
It’s about awareness.
This week’s Sanskrit focus asks:
Where is your energy going?
And what are you still carrying that no longer supports your wellbeing?

Off the mat this week, we’re practicing Sevā—devotional care.
Not doing more.
Not adding more.
Not overwhelming yourself with “shoulds.”
Instead:
What’s already supporting you?
What’s already working?
Stay with that.
Care for it.
That’s how sustainable growth actually happens.

04/27/2026

You don’t need a new yoga routine this week.
You need to stay with the one that’s already supporting you.
Sevā reminds us that growth doesn’t come from doing more—it comes from showing up with care.
Consistency > intensity.

✨ Sanskrit of the Week: Seva ✨
Seva is often translated as “service”—but in practice, it’s not about overgiving or depletion.
It’s about intentional care.
This week, we explore:
🌿 Service as connection
🌿 Care as practice
🌿 Giving without burnout
On the mat and off, Seva asks us to participate in care in a way that is sustainable, aligned, and real.

We believe in creating space where you can show up as you are—no masking (for our neurodivergent witchlings), no pretenses. Explore how our unique blend of yoga, mindfulness, and witch-informed rituals was built to support your journey.
