We’re back with Athlete of the Week! Meet our first Fall Athletes of the Week!

FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK | AVA HOLMES

Senior Ava Holmes of Varsity Girls Volleyball totaled an impressive 45 kills across three games this week while consistently bringing leadership, encouragement, and energy to her team.

Beyond her performance, Ava leads by example and helps bring her team together. She also makes a point to invite the opposing team to pray with them after each game.

MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK | MARIS MILOSEVIC

Senior Maris Milosevic of Varsity Boys Soccer has been a standout since joining NCS, helping the team start the season 3-0. In the September 1 matchup against Summit Christian, he recorded one goal and one assist while anchoring the defense at center back.

His impact goes beyond the stat sheet, providing security on defense while also supporting the attack.

Congratulations, Ava and Maris! We’re excited to recognize the leadership, character, and performance of our student-athletes throughout Fall 2026.

We have a BUSY day ahead! Home and away, our Ambassadors are ready to compete.

MS Girls Purple Volleyball vs. OakTree — 4:00 PM

JV Girls Volleyball vs. OakTree — 5:30 PM
MS Football @ IWA — 6:30 PM
Varsity Girls Volleyball vs. OakTree — 7:00 PM
Varsity Boys Volleyball @ Great Bridge — 7:00 PM
MS Boys Soccer has been canceled and rescheduled for October 15.

All home volleyball games will be played in the Smith Gym!
