Welp in life changes happen and money is to be made so I have made the executive decision to pull a lane kiffin and leave LJR for BRR. It’s been a good run crew chiefing over the years I have learned ABSOLUTELY NOTHING as the time has flew by and I hope the best for Landen and his racing career for I will not be able to slow him down any longer. Peace out! -Dylan Eliser

Well it definitely wasn’t the night we was looking for by any standards but we did get to do some close racing with good friends of ours. We brought both cars to Baton Rouge first time with the 4Way Fab they both were great for hot laps.

Pill draw for the street stock sucked so we had to start towards the back of our heat. Took the lead on lap 1 and the caution flew and went back to full restart. Landen and Calvin Martin desperately sliced through the field to get to the front. We took home 2nd in the heat giving us 2nd in passing points starting us 4th in the feature was locked down around the bottom where we would wheel it to 2nd and finish there. (Congratulations to Calvin Martin)

In the late model we qualified 2nd only a tenth off QuickTime. The track was really starting to slick off so we went to adjust the car to the racetrack. We get called to pack the top in because they went ahead and watered it. Now we have a slick set racecar for a racetrack with a nice hooked groove around the top and we go straight back to staging after packing with no time to adjust the car back. We started the heat race off hot but once the bottom of 3 and 4 became the dominant line we lost it at the flag stand but it was to our teammate so it’s all good. We scratch our heads a little to determine what this racetrack is going to be come feature time and we decide. We roll off 4th and in the first corner the top was where it was at 2nd (Brady Walton) and 4th (Landen) catapult off the high side and become P1 and P2. We would chase the B2 around the raceway up until the white flag waved where the car lost fuel and oil pressure and completely shut off down the backstretch. We just needed 1/2 of a lap left out of it to finish but we settled for the DNF.

Overall nothing quite went right from jump and there was plenty of fast cars that showed up so nothing to bow our heads to. We will be taking a little break, get the cars cleaned up and get the late model a new heart and we will be back! -Dylan (Pit Crew)

P2 tonight we qualified 2nd but messed up both laps. Had a redraw before the feature race started after running 3rd in the heat was lined up to start 3rd in the feature and drew the 4. Started 4th and charged to 2nd before a caution came out. We would slowly catch on the leader just ran out of laps. We put a 7 second gap on the field so something must’ve been going right.
