On June 18th at 7 PM, we're bringing in Christos Papadelos to break down one of the most dangerous and misunderstood areas of modern jiu-jitsu: leg locks.

Whether you're completely new to leg attacks or looking to sharpen your entries, control, defenses, and finishes, this seminar will give you practical tools you can immediately apply to your game.

The athletes who ignore leg locks eventually become victims of them. The athletes who study them become a problem for everyone else.

It teaches kids confidence, discipline, courage, composure, and how to work through difficult situations without giving up.

Every class challenges them physically and mentally while surrounding them with coaches, mentors, and teammates who genuinely want to see them succeed.

Over time, you don’t just watch them become better athletes.

Today we remember that freedom has always carried a cost.

Before there were medals, celebrations, and long weekends… there were men and women who stood in the gap for people they would never meet. People who laid down comfort, safety, and in many cases their lives, so others could live in peace.

At Leake BJJ, we talk often about courage, sacrifice, discipline, and service to something greater than yourself. Memorial Day is a reminder that these values were written into the foundation of this country long before they were ever practiced on the mats.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” ~ John 15:13

Today we honor the fallen. We pray for their families. And we remember that true strength is never selfish.
