We want to take a moment to recognize and appreciate our incredible coaches Brian Kidd, Travis Hanshaw, Wayne Gillispie, & Ashley Brown who pour so much into our girls every single day.
Thank you for choosing development over just wins, for teaching the game the right way, and for investing in each player’s growth on and off the field. You’re not just building softball players… you’re building confidence, character, and a love for the game that will last a lifetime.
Because of your leadership, our girls are learning what it means to work hard, stay disciplined, and be great teammates.
We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re thankful for the impact you’re making. 🙌
Everyone wants their kid to be “further ahead” at 10. More pitches. More movement. More complicated everything. And then they wonder why it all falls apart when the game speeds up.
You don’t build great players by making it complex early. You build them by making the simple stuff automatic. Throw strikes. Hit spots. Field your position. Base run properly. Understand the count. Know what you’re trying to do before you do it.
But here’s where most people miss… the basics aren’t just physical — they’re mental. Do they know why they’re throwing that pitch? Do they understand what the hitter is trying to do? Do they recognize situations, or are they just reacting late?
That’s softball IQ. And if you don’t build it early, you’re constantly playing catch up later. Because when the pressure hits, kids don’t rise to the occasion… they fall back on what they actually understand.
Keep it simple. Repeat it. Explain it. Make them think, not just do. The ones who learn the game early — really learn it — are the ones who control it later.
Simple wins. Every time.
