We are a small outfitting operation that focuses on providing quality hunts. We are in this business for the shear love of hunting.

We only do a few hunts each year with the goal of providing top quality hunts with a high percentage of success. We operate "by the book" both legally and ethically. We believe that the majestic animals we hunt deserve fair chase and a clean ethical kill.

Late August found me once again out at my interior camps. This year to kick off the season I was accompanied by one of my repeat clients who has also become a good friend.
Mark joined me in search of an interior grizzly and caribou. On the 3rd day of his hunt Mark took this beautiful mature interior grizzly.

Tom started off our fall season taking this excellent billy on his mtn. goat hunt.
After getting stuck in town for several days waiting to fly out to the hunt area, we finally made it out in a narrow weather window. We spent the first day hiking up above treeline in the rain and fog. The following day found us in goat country with clear skies. Part way through the morning we spotted this billy over 1 mile away and watched him bed just below the ridge line. After we made our way across the valley and back up the ridge that he was located on we came in above and spotted him slowly feeding away from us without presenting a good look at him or a shot. He slowly fed his way into a small copse of stunted spruce on the mountain side disappearing from view. After working around trying to find him again and then sitting on the ridge for 7hrs trying to wait him out we decided that with only a couple of hours left before sunset we would make our way down and try to locate him from below. As we arrived at the base of the ridge below where he was last seen we spotted him leaving the cover he had occupied most of the day. We were able to approach under cover of alders and terrain and get Tom within range enabling him to bring down his trophy billy with a single shot.

I have one spot left for a 10day caribou/grizzly combo hunt in the fall of 2027. $35,000 for 1x1.
This is a great hunt in some of the most beautiful country Alaska has to offer. Good physical condition is imperative as we sometimes cover a good bit of ground in our pursuit of good bulls.

Mike has fished with me for the last 8 or 9 years and always brings in some nice fish. This year he brought in a nice one in the triple digits.

The second hunt of the spring brown bear season that I guided for Frank Sanders was a father and son duo, Jason and Kale.
After passing on a couple of bears Kale had an opportunity at a nice boar late one evening mid way through the hunt. Unfortunately he missed the shot on the boar at 117yds.
On the last evening of the hunt Jason and I were able to close the distance on this boar after 1 mile sprint across the tidal flats intercepting him while he was trailing a sow. Jason was able to make a great shot allowing him to put his tag on a nice boar.
On the pack back to camp that evening we spotted another good boar and Kale and I were able to stalk within 80yds but some intervening brush prevented a shot, by the time we were able to quietly maneuver for a shot the boar had slipped away into some thick cover while trailing a sow.

This spring brown bear season on the peninsula definitely tested our patience. Colder than average temperatures made for a late spring breakup which meant spring growth was about 2-3weeks later than what we normally see. This made for slower bear activity. On Tim's hunt we were delayed 3 days getting into the field due to weather.
Day 2 he passed on a decent boar hoping a bigger boar would show up. On the second to last day of his hunt this boar gave us the opportunity we needed to fill his tag.
