⛳ Jaguars Match Recap ⛳

Last night our Jaguars competed at Old Bridge Golf Club. While the results weren’t what we were hoping for, every round is an opportunity to grow.

Golf has a way of testing every part of your game—and sometimes even your attitude. Some of our golfers had a tough day, but those difficult rounds often become the greatest teachers. The key is to learn from every shot, every decision, and every challenge, then take those lessons into practice.

Remember, practice doesn’t make perfect—perfect practice makes perfect play. Let’s stay focused on improving one shot at a time and continue building confidence through hard work and preparation.

We’re proud of our team for competing, supporting one another, and representing East Jessamine with class. We’ll get back to work and be ready for the next challenge.

Great news, Jessamine County Schools Families! JCS is once again a full CEP district for the 2026–2027 school year.🚀

What does this mean? All JCS students are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost every school day, no application required! This is a huge win for our students and our entire community.🎉

💡 Why You Might Still Want to Apply
While all students can receive meals at no cost, filling out the annual income-eligibility form is still vital for families who want to qualify for potential fee waivers (such as 💻Chromebook fees, 🚌field trips, ⚽️athletics, and more).

If your household qualifies for free or reduced status, you must submit a form to have student fees waived or adjusted.

The Jaguars competed today at the Scott County Classic at Cherry Blossom Golf Course, and I couldn’t be more proud of the effort, attitude, and sportsmanship they displayed throughout the day.

Our team represented East Jessamine with class, battled through a competitive field, and continues to improve with every round. Every tournament gives us valuable experience, and today was another step forward as we continue to build our program.

Thank you to all of the parents, family members, and supporters who came out to cheer on our golfers. Your support means a great deal to these young men.

⛳️ Kearney Hills Tournament Recap ⛳️

Our Jaguars competed Tuesday at Kearney Hills Golf Course, and I couldn’t be more proud of the way they represented East Jessamine High School. They competed with class, encouraged one another, and continued building confidence with every hole.

Yesterday marked our first tournament of the 2026 season at Eagle Trace Golf Course in Morehead!

Representing East Jessamine:

🏌️ Wes Perkins — Junior
🏌️ Clayton Hager — Sophomore
🏌️ Ryder Knight — Sophomore

This was first opportunity to put all the work into action. It isn’t just about the score — it’s about competing, making smart decisions, respecting the game, supporting your teammates, and representing East Jessamine the right way.

Also, huge shoutout to Clayton Hager with only 31 putts!! We had an internal contest of fewest putts amongst the team.
