Hurling is a fast growing sport in the US that originates from Ireland. It is one of the oldest sports games in existance. The game is considered to be the fastest game on grass. The games are won by scoring points between the uprights above the goal or by scoring a goal which is worth 3 points. The hurling sticks or “hurleys” are the most important piece of equipment. The Hurley can strike the sliotar(ball) up to 100 mph and over 100 yards. Hurleys are traditionally made from ash wood. There are not many makers of Hurleys in the US and we aim to help grow the game and get Hurleys in more people’s hands! All of CHC’s Hurleys are custom made and are made to order. All are made from fine local ash wood that is hard but has a good flex. Grip colors and linseed oiling are also options.

This vibrant 32.5” Hurley has some beautiful graining. All of our hurleys are made from local ash wood and finished with linseed oil.

Quick strike 32.5” Hurley. This one has a slimmer bas which makes getting the sliotar off the ground much easier

This is the first 36” Hurley created. Turned out to have a smaller handle than the others. Handle is wrapped in Cork colors 🔴
