🔥🤼 Powercats Wrestling Summer Clinic for Beginners 🤼🔥

What a great way to end our Powercats Wrestling Summer Clinic for Beginners! The kids worked hard, learned new skills, challenged themselves, and had a ton of fun along the way!

A huge THANK YOU to Coach Turner and Coach Ali for sharing their time, energy, and knowledge with our young wrestlers. We truly appreciate everything you do to help our kids grow and develop! 👏

The kids finished camp by putting their skills to the test with take-down matches! It was great to see them get out there, compete, use the techniques they learned, and cheer each other on. 💪🤼‍♂️

We also finished up with a pizza party to celebrate all their hard work! 🍕🎉

One quick note: We forgot to hand out the Powercats water bottles that each wrestler receives. 🤦‍♂️💧 If your wrestler did not receive theirs, please contact one of the coaches to arrange a time to pick it up.

Thank you to all the wrestlers and families for making this such a great summer clinic! We are proud of all the hard work and progress these young athletes showed.

🏆 THAT’S A WRAP ON PRE-HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER WRESTLING CAMP! 🤼‍♂️🔥

As we wrap up another summer, we want to take a moment to recognize all of our wrestlers who showed up, worked hard, and challenged themselves to become better — not just wrestlers, but better people.

Throughout the season, we focused on 7 Words of the Week. These weren’t just words we talked about — they were values we challenged our wrestlers to live by every day.

💪 WORK ETHIC — Give your best in everything you do.

🤝 ACCOUNTABILITY — Take responsibility for your choices.

🔁 CONSISTENCY — Do it right, over and over again.

🔥 PERSEVERANCE — Keep going when it gets hard.

❤️ CHARACTER — Who you are when nobody is watching.

🦁 COURAGE — Be afraid. Do it anyway.

🙏 FAITH — Trust God. Seek truth. Live His Word.

These are lessons that go far beyond the wrestling mat. Wins and losses will come and go, but the work ethic, accountability, consistency, perseverance, character, courage, and faith our wrestlers develop will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

A HUGE thank you to Coach Eagan and Coach McDougald for their dedication, time, and commitment to our wrestlers this summer. Most importantly, thank you for helping build young men and women who understand that success is about much more than what happens on the mat.

The camp may be over, but the work continues.

Champions are made in the off-season. 🏆

Both of these young wrestlers showed great effort, toughness, determination, and a willingness to keep pushing themselves throughout wrestling camp. 💪🔥

Our Middle School Summer Camp with Coach McDougald and Coach Eagan has been a huge success so far! 💪🏽🏆

The kids are learning great technique, developing their skills, and understanding what it truly means to have a great work ethic.

Coach Eagan continues to remind them with one simple question: “Who controls your work ethic?”

And every time, the kids respond loud and proud: “I DO!” 👏🏽

That’s the mindset we want to build—not just great athletes, but young people who understand that their effort, attitude, and work ethic are in their own hands.

Proud of the work these kids are putting in! Keep working, keep learning, and keep getting better! 💯

Our inaugural beginner summer camp has been a resounding success thus far. Each week, the coaches select two exceptionally diligent wrestlers and recognize them with the “Scrapper of the Week” award. Here are a few of our esteemed scrappers. Congratulations and keep up the hard work .

Today marks the commencement of our beginners camp, expertly led by Coach Ali and Coach Turner. This camp serves as an ideal platform for introducing the fundamentals of wrestling, and we are excited about the potential of our participants. Parents are requested to remind their children to bring a water bottle.
