These boys had an amazing time with their team and our baseball family got to go to the Smokies game and be apart of the hype tunnel (some of them were nervous but the look on their faces when they seen the fans looking at them was priceless ❤️) got multiple shout-outs throughout the game and the boys were fired up cheering the Smokies on watching and learning from their game and all in all couldn't have asked for a better day they even got to run the bases at the end of the game what an experience and core memory it doesn't matter the record at the end of the season it's all about development and core team memories and every player has gotten just that this season I couldn't be any prouder to be called their coach let's go continue to improve and finish the season strong (videos in comments)

These boys were fired up last night and came out bats swinging working together as a team cheering screaming and rooting each other on had the lead for most of all the game excluding the top of the first and it slipped through our fingertips in the last inning but boy let me tell you these past two games have shown them what they are capable of and I know we can come out with some wins before the tournament these boys have come along way and continue to push through and show themselves their true potential with encouragement discipline and teamwork they know it's only uphill from here keep pushing boys and

With just about two weeks left in the season until the tournament this game may have shown them what they were looking for all season didn't get the W but the fact that they brought the Dawgs out in them and kept it neck and neck until the final inning fighting screaming words of encouragement to their teammates rooting each other on continuing to come together as a whole unit makes this coach proud what a hard fought game boys keep up the progress

Been quiet lately guess it was the rain slump that kept on showing up but it's time to get loud and proud to finish out this season for these boys came out playing the best defensive game I think we have played yet but couldn't answer with the bats again had some great takeaways but all in all didn't get the win it's the improvements that I'm after and as a whole team that is happening with everybody I couldn't be prouder to watch it I know it's a game of win or lose but when they lose you still gotta encourage the strengths and weaknesses keep improving boys it will all come together eventually

What a successful day for the muddawgs I want to thank everyone involved in today we couldn't have done it without the amazing parent group on this team they all weren't there due to some already planned events but that's ok cause these boys showed up and put in some work we would also like to say a Huge thank you to O'Reilly Auto Parts in Newport for allowing us to do this and also this great city of NEWPORT y'all were amazing today we also concluded our cookie dough fundraiser today and that turn out was great as well but we are still on the hunt for any more last minute donations that can be done via cash app or venmo for venmo it's and cash app $MudDawgsBaseball thank you to everyone again and as always

Win or lose this game and age is about development and giving them the confidence to go out there and give 110% no matter what that scoreboard says are they improving on their strengths and weaknesses? Are they coming together as a team? Every game will bring new obstacles, new strengths, and open up eyes to things they didn't see before at the end of the day, win or lose I will always make sure they have the confidence to know every game they are getting better and better these boys have the heart and the love for the game they went out there and didn't get the win ,8-3 loss but as always there was improvements made keep putting in the work boys we see you 💪💪💪 and as always
