Well the 2026 East Coast Meltdown at Coastal RC. Indoor Speedway and Hobbies is in the books and Im super happy with the results and how awesome the event was.

I ran Intermediate 17.5 2WD and 13.5 4WD for the weekend with my new Schumacher chassis.

Friday practice went well as i only was able to have a few hours due to work but the layout was super fun and technical especially the waterfall feature.

Saturday qualifying was rough as yet again due to work missed out on rounds 1 and 2. Luckily I was able to make it for the 3rd and final round of qualifying.

2WD qualifying went well as I was able to stay mostly consistent but still would qualify all the way at the back of the pack of the B sort due to missing the first 2 rounds.

The 2WD mains for Intermediate is where it got really interesting. On the tone I was able to quickly pull up from the back to the top 3 and stay for majority of the race and quickly pulled it up to 1st after to not only secure the win in the B-main but also make the transfer into the A-Main. The A-main was where the show really kicked off as I started at the back of the pack but by the end of the first lap was sitting second and a couple slips here and there would have me bounce around the top 3. But the 8 minute main it would ultimately come down to clean driving, battery management, and keeping a cool head. I was able to pull into 1st by the 5:30 mark and keep it there till the end for the win.

4WD was another show as it was also an 8 minute main where the same principles for 2WD would come into play. Starting dead last on the tone I was able to make it through the traffic in the first turn bringing me up to 2nd. Where I would Battle it out with Alex Roach for quite a while until ultimately his low voltage detection kicked in ending his run allowing me to come up to first amd hold it for the remainder of the race where I would bring home the win. Alex drove his buggy really well and I wish our battle could have continued all the way to the end as he's come along way in his own program in these last few months.

The event this year was an absolute blast and im super thankful for everyone that came out and supported the race and helped with track prep. This truly is an amazing place to be with amazing people. Thank you to Barry Schimmel and the rest of the Schimmel family along with all of the offroad track crew for an amazing layout and help for prep for the event. None of us would have a place to race and hang out without yall and im truly truly grateful that Coastal is my home track as I couldnt ask for a better place to be.

It was such a great time with my Locked-In Racing teammates this weekend as we all were helping each other out and pushing each other to stay on top of it all weekend. Another huge thanks from Kevin Crowling for helping out and getting us ready for the weekend, he's the glue for this team and Im super happy that I get to be a part of this team.

Thank you to the companies that make all the amazing products that keep this hobby and sport alive.

Ran round 2 of the spring points series this past weekend and it was a blast as always especially with my teammates from Locked-In Racing.

Ran 17.5 2WD and 13.5 4WD this weekend and was happy with the results.

Let's get it over with. The big news is Im now running Schumacers for the foreseeable future and Im very happy with the move.

4WD went great for the day as I was able to qualify and finish 3rd for the with the new car and it drove so smooth with the kit setup.

2WD went well as it was a little tippy in a certain spot but other than that qualifying and the main went well and Im very happy with car.

The Schumacher's right out of the box are phenomenal cars and I couldnt be happier with the performance. It was a great day for testing for the East Coast Meltdown this weekend, and I cant wait to see how the weekend goes and how they handle the new layout.

The first race of the spring points series at Coastal RC. Indoor Speedway and Hobbies was last weekend and it was an absolute blast.

I ran 17.5 2WD, 13.5 4WD, and VTA for the day and the cars were pretty dialed all day.

VTA went well for the day as I stayed pretty consistent throughout the day minus a body post breaking towards the end of qual 2. Luckily I was able to hold it down and bring home 4th for the day starting the series off good.

Now 2WD, the car was super dialed all day and after a quick tire swap with some guidance from my teammate Mitch Keith, I was able to pick a few tenths on the day and on the last lap of the main secure 3rd for the day giving me a great head start for the series.

4WD was a different story. Started the day off great with relatively no issues other than a slight traction problem in seeding which I fixed between rounds. The rest of qualifying went well as I was able to solve my traction issues and stayed pretty consistent with Mitch and Rick Stalcup for both rounds. Now onto the main, where i would start 5th but quickly make my way up to 3rd, but unfortunately a small incident would leave me upside down on the back straight where I would ultimately end up with a broken ball cup ending my race early.

All around it was a great day with great people. Repairs are in progress between rounds and Ill be back for round 2 ready to go ahead of the Meltdown the following week. This month is gonna be action packed and some big things are going on behind the scenes so stay tuned for what's to come.

Also want to give a shout out to my Locked-In Racing teammates for the support and I also want to welcome Jay Boustead to the team. He's a great racer and great friend and cant wait for more awesome days ahead seeing him grow his program.

Sorry for the late post but the Winter Points Series at Coastal RC. Indoor Speedway and Hobbies is in the books and man what a fun ride it was.

Ran 2WD, 4WD, Short Course, and VTA for the last day and they were dialed all day.

2WD went well for the day landing me a 6th on the day and inside the top 10 for the series. It was dialed the whole series and got a little bit of a facelift for the last day.

4WD was probably the best for the day even though I would qualify and finish 4th on the day it was able to give a 3rd overall for the series and couldn't have been happier with it.

I only ran short course for the main as I was more focused on the other cars for the day but still a good time all around giving me 5th for the day and the series.

VTA was a blast all day and I was able to get 3rd for the day. This class has been an absolute blast and cant wait for more fun racing in the future.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Barry Schimmel and his crew for putting together yet another awesome series to compete in and cant wait for the East Coast Meltdown in March as its been an amazing event year after year.

I also want to thank my boys over at Locked-In Racing for the hype and support throughout the whole series. Y'all keep the pits fun and I couldn't ask for better friends and teammates.

Couldn't do this without all the companies that make all the products that I use on all my cars.

Stay tuned for the future as some big things are coming for 2026 and beyond, not only for me but the team as well.

Ran the 5th round of the winter points series this past weekend at Coastal RC. Indoor Speedway and Hobbies and it was an absolute blast.
I ran 17.5 2WD, 13.5 4WD, 13.5 Short Course, and a new one for me VTA.

2WD went great throughout the day qualifying 3rd for the main but some rear grip issues had me fighting it in the main giving me a 5th overall for the day.

4WD was an absolute blast getting to battle my teammate Mitch Keith all day giving me a solid 3rd place for the day.

Short Course went well enough as I missed seeding and qualifying, having me start at the back of the pack but ultimately finishing in 4th for the day.

Now onto VTA which is a new class for me and my teammate Kevin Crowling. It was an absolute blast from the start and all the way to the end. He and I did great on our first time in the class and boy was it fun. The car was very dialed right out of the gate and did great throughout the day and I'm honestly surprised at how well I drove as I've never raced this class or chassis type before and I'm a fair bit rusty at onroad as I haven't ran onroad since last spring. But overall happy with a 3rd place finish for the first time back on that side.

Cant thank my teammates at Locked-In Racing racing enough for all the hype, support, and fun battles on the track. I truly appreciate the guys not only for adding me to the team just a few weeks ago but the on going support and its only going to get better from here.

Ran some Tuesday night club racing last night and boy was it a blast.

Ran 17.5 2WD and 13.5 4WD and it was just a great time all around.

2WD went well as I was able to qualify, start, and finish in 5th but an overall fun race.

Now getting into 4wd with Mitch Keith my Locked-In Racing teammate. He killed it as I expected from his many years of experience and racing. Qualifying and the main we were right there with each other the whole time battling it out.

It was such an awesome night and a blast to race with him and everyone else last night.

Ran round 4 of the Coastal RC. Indoor Speedway and Hobbies winter series and it was an absolute blast today with the Locked-In Racing team as it was my first race as part of the team. I want to start by saying a huge thank you to Barry Schimmel and the rest of the people there for giving us this awesome place to race and hang out and for putting on these fun series and the guys for welcoming me to the team its an honor boys.

Today I ran 17.5 2WD, 13.5 4WD, and 13.5 Short course truck and what a day it was.

2WD was a struggle all day as I kept fighting traction issues until the main where Mitch Keith had me change my anti-squat to get my rear grip back. I held second in the main for quite a bit then I got in my head and ended in 6th on the day.

The 4WD was hooked and cooking all day as I was able to seed qualify and finish 2nd for the day leaving me good for the points so far this series.

Short Course was a cluster all day as seeding and qualifying were mediocre at best. I held 3rd in the main for quite a few laps but a bad landing ended my race with a sheared ball stud but still landing me 4th for the day.

This series has taught me so much and I couldn't be happier with how its gone so far and hope for more great days as we head into the last 2 rounds in the new year with the East Coast Meltdown on the horizon at the end.

Mitch and Kevin were a big help today as always and I couldn't do this without them and Chris having my back every step of the way. I couldn't be happier to be the newest addition to the team. Thanks again guys it really means a lot.

Ran the 3rd round of the Coastal RC. Indoor Speedway and Hobbies winter points series and it was a good day.

I ran 17.5 2WD, 13.5 4WD. and 13.5 2WD Short Course and they were dialed all day.

2WD went great with seeding and qualifying landing me First to start in the B-Main. The start of the main was a little hectic and I ended up 3rd within the first few turns where I would remain till the end of the main.

4WD went well as I was able to seed and qualify 4th for the main. The entirety of the main was a blast as Rick Stalcup and I were neck and neck for 3rd the last 3/4 of the race but a bobble on my part let him come by me for 3rd place. Also a big thank you to Nick Taylor for letting me borrow that a block to run the main.

Short Course was all over the place through seeding, qualifying, and the main, and I ultimately finished 4th for the day.

An overall good day of racing, a lot was learned and I hope to improve on what I learned. I also want to thank the boys over at Locked-In Racing for welcoming me to the team, they are always great to hang out, race, and pit with. Can't wait for more awesome days ahead with the boys.
