On Sunday, October 26th, the Newnan Legends Baseball team embarked on an epic adventure at the Training Legends Spook-tacular tournament held at the iconic Andrew Bailey Ball Park, and by 'survived' I mean they made it through a grueling 14+ hour day without too many tantrums or lost limbs 😂.
The weather was as moody as a teenager, with clouds gathering and rain that couldn't make a decision, making it challenging for our mini sluggers to maintain their focus. Despite the unpredictable weather conditions and a break between games that felt like an eternity, our team of tiny athletes still managed to snag a respectable 2nd place finish in the 10U division!
The excitement was palpable as they took to the field, their energy and enthusiasm infectious as they gave it their all.
Huge thanks to Tyler Wimmer and TBP Pressure Washing for supporting our energetic bunch of tiny athletes, who were literally bouncing off the walls with excitement 🙏.
We're incredibly proud of each and every one of them for their teamwork, sportsmanship, and for showing up with a positive attitude despite the long day ahead. Here's to an amazing tournament and an unforgettable experience for our Newnan Legends Baseball team! 🎉
