Today the team ran their first race of the season at the Claymont Early Bird Invitational. It was a great first race of the season, and I’m really proud of the way this team competed and supported one another. We have plenty to work on, but these athletes have a lot to be proud of.

A special shoutout to Solee Garland, Byron Bailey, and Marcus Mercer for running their first ever cross country races today! There's something special about getting that first race under your belt.

Tomorrow is our last day of conditioning, and Monday is our first official practice of the season! It's still not too late to join the team!

Helping out at the Hero Hustle 5k is always a great way to end our June free runs! Autumn Hendershot and the Orange and Black Get Fit team always put on a great race, and we're thankful to be a part of it! It was also a plus that we got to meet Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey!
