Wow! It has been a minute since I posted. MTS has been working tirelessly to stay engaged with Teens and their parents through the pandemic. I, for one am excited to see all the creative ways everyone has been using to carry one with the mission.

Have you seen my fundraising efforts to host my first teen Motivating the Teen Spirit teen empowerment, and parent training workshop in Vegas on 2/17?! WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The purpose of these amazing interactive workshops is to teach teens, Emotional Literacy and Healthiness as it begins the process of self-discovery. It peels back the layers of perceived image and helps teens to remove their masks to allow them to discover who they really are. Empowering teens to take responsibility for their lives, respect themselves, communicate better, and live with integrity.

I’m excited to bring this work back home to Vegas to share with my peers, their teens, and the Vegas community as a whole!

A daily practice of gratitude is the beginning of changing the way you think and feel. It's a way of training your brain to focus on the positive and turn away from the negative. Even if you can only think of 3 things - I'm breathing, I can walk, I can read, etc. It will change the vibration in which you operate in the world. Like attracts like. Raise your awareness of the good and you will attract more good. Seek to understand the lessons being offered rather than resist. If we are to live a blessed life, we must open our eyes to the blessings we already have.
