One step closer to Javelina Jundred with his sights set on another golden ticket 🎟️

This past weekend trail ambassador Jacob Banta ran the Préalpes Trail du Mouret 38k in 3:40:23, good for 2nd and dipping under the previous course record.

The build hasn’t exactly been conventional. Leading up to this race, Jacob took on The Speed Project CHX, a 350-mile relay from Chamonix to Marseille, covering 80 miles solo across 40 hours and very little sleep. During UTMB week, the focus shifted: less mileage, more strength, and time to recover before the next block of training.

We caught up with Jacob high above Chamonix on Le Brévent to capture a piece of the work behind what comes next.

A little rain wasn’t going to stop this crew. More than 100 runners joined us in Washington, DC, for a Friday evening shakeout with TEN THOUSAND, Mona Laviñia Garcia and team after one, just after the storm cleared and kickstarting race weekend began.

Big thanks to Centr, SURF, Elevate Interval Fitness, JACKED GRANNY and src for helping bring it all together, and to everyone who came out, moved with us and brought the energy đź’Ş
