Abi Dabi Up-cycled threads that give a fresh face to fashion Every item is hand-crafted by local tailors from Auroville, India.

Abi Dabi offers a line of funky, vibrant, lightweight clothing and apparel made from used Indian rice bags and surplus materials. Everything in the Abi Dabi collection is "Up-Cycled" (think recycled, but creating a new product that has more value than the original product) from used or re-purposed materials. Each piece is unique, and every design is one of a kind, based on the combination of rice bags and surplus materials used in the production process. The goals of Abi Dabi are guided by the three Permaculture ethics:

"Earth-care" - Minimizing our impact on the environment by Up-cycling used materials

"People-care" - Providing comfortable work spaces and fair wages for our tailors

"Fair-share" - Putting the importance of profits after the much larger goal of promoting Eco-consciousness
