Alex Bullock has officially stepped away from football after recently joining the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free-agent rookie out of South Dakota State.

The 23-year-old wide receiver had taken part in the Jaguars’ rookie minicamp and was preparing to battle for a place on the roster during the upcoming offseason program before deciding to retire from the NFL.

Bullock entered the league following an impressive 2025 season at South Dakota State, where he totaled 70 catches for 941 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns while playing for the Jackrabbits.

His retirement also marks the third time in the last week that an undrafted NFL rookie has chosen to step away from the league before the season begins.

Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly emerged as a team that could be a logical landing spot for free-agent wide receiver Stefon Diggs, according to Albert Breer.

Kansas City is still believed to be exploring ways to strengthen its receiving corps, and adding a veteran playmaker like Diggs late in the offseason would instantly give Patrick Mahomes another proven weapon in the offense.

Despite being 32 years old, Diggs remained highly productive last season, finishing with 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and 4 touchdowns while continuing to show he can perform at a high level.

If the Chiefs were to make a move for him, it would easily become one of the biggest late-offseason additions around the league and could significantly boost an already dangerous Kansas City offense.

Dak Prescott recently sparked online buzz after being spotted at a Pro Bull Riders event in Texas with Caitlin Rance, who was previously a bridesmaid for his former fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos.

The appearance comes not long after Prescott and Ramos reportedly called off their engagement only weeks before their planned wedding in Italy. According to reports, Ramos believed the breakup was connected to repeated infidelity issues involving the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

Sources also claimed the relationship became increasingly strained after the couple allegedly had a serious argument during their joint bachelor-and-bachelorette getaway in the Bahamas before the split became official.

Eli Manning recently revealed that there was a point on draft night in 2004 when the San Diego Chargers were prepared to send him to the Cleveland Browns in a potential trade. However, Manning and his agent, Tom Condon, reportedly shut the idea down and continued pushing for a move to the New York Giants instead.

Terrell Owens recently claimed that a manager he had worked with for more than 15 years allegedly stole money from him, and he argued that the media reaction would be far more intense if he were the one accused of wrongdoing.

Owens said that if the situation were reversed and he had stolen from someone else, major sports networks, blogs, and commentators would be covering the story nonstop while questioning his reputation, character, and professionalism. He added that the public backlash could have seriously damaged future business opportunities and personal relationships.

The Hall of Fame receiver also used the situation to speak about the mental and emotional pressure many athletes deal with privately. According to Owens, situations that may seem minor to outsiders can deeply affect athletes behind the scenes and sometimes contribute to serious emotional struggles.

He admitted that he initially debated whether or not to speak publicly about the issue, but ultimately decided to share his experience during Mental Health Awareness Month in hopes of bringing more attention to the unseen pressures athletes often face.

Ben Roethlisberger, the former Pittsburgh Steelers star and two-time Super Bowl champion, will become eligible for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2027 his first year on the ballot.

Over an 18-season NFL career spent entirely in Pittsburgh, Roethlisberger built an impressive résumé, highlighted by two Super Bowl titles (XL and XLIII), NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors in 2004, and six Pro Bowl selections. He also led the league in passing yards twice, earned PFWA All-Rookie Team recognition, and was later honored in the Steelers Hall of Honor.

Drafted 11th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft out of Miami University (Ohio), Roethlisberger finished his career with 64,088 passing yards, 418 touchdowns, and 211 interceptions, completing 64.4% of his passes across 249 games (247 starts). He also added 1,373 rushing yards and 20 rushing touchdowns on the ground.

As a starter, he compiled a 165–81–1 regular-season record and went 13–10 in the postseason, cementing himself as one of the defining quarterbacks of his era. Now, the debate begins: does “Big Ben” deserve a first-ballot Hall of Fame induction?
