"Sailing in Time by Reading in D29"

Every Sunday evening at 7:00 pm we read to our scholars, building the love of reading.

In recognition of Women's History Month, our readers will be:

Prep for Prep is now accepting applications for its next class of Prep for Prep (day school) and PREP 9 (boarding school) scholars.

Prep for Prep is the nation’s foremost program for academically gifted students of color. We help students enroll and thrive in premier independent schools (commonly known as private schools) in New York City and boarding schools across the Northeast. To ensure our students' success, we prepare them in advance of their placement through an intensive 14-month academic program.

In addition, Prep scholars:
- participate in leadership development, internship, summer camp, and travel abroad opportunities
- receive social-emotional and wellness support from middle school through college
- build life-long friendships as part of a like-minded community of young leaders

Prep for Prep’s talent search team is seeking current fifth-, sixth-, and seventh-graders attending a New York City public, parochial, or charter school.
