Today I was talking with a Client in the gym about the "ratio" of kcals in food to energy expenditure & how absurd it is. for example a BASIC Papa John's large pizza based off of their calculator contains ~2600 kcals (even more with extra toppings) & can be eaten anywhere from 10-20 minutes but did U ever think about just how long it would take U to BURN those same ~2600 kcals off? Definitely not 10-20 minutes. In fact, taking an average 200 lb male burning 800 KCAL / hour of jogging (~6-7mph), to burn that 1 pizza he'd have to jog a little over >3 hrs to burn that Pizza off.
More perspective a 600 rep lunge workout burns about ~1000 KCAL so that pizza = nearly 2,000 reps of lunges and a prime example of why people can easily end up in a severe surplus & get very overweight without noticing.
Think about some petite females, that 1 pizza is close to 2× their daily requirement yet it's not uncommon for one to have one just for DINNER yet alone inc. breakfast, snack, lunch & alcohol (if going partying). This info isn't to scare U BUT to give U some perspective in order to make U a little more mindful about KCAL density & energy intake. If U can't lose weight U are simply eating too much and/or doing too little & often times if U THINK U are eating x amount of kcals U are likely actually eating MORE. If u are struggling to lose weight, track Ur intake, even just for 1 day & see how much U are really eating & 1 can bet it will be far more than U thought.
If U Need Help Please TEXT ME @ (760) BEST-BOD !!!! ASAP. Stop putting off what U can DO Today & a Talk won’t Cost U a Thing.
DID U KNOW
34% of adults and 15 - 20% of children / adolescents in the U.S. ALONE are obese with rates expected to double for adults and triple for children in the coming years & the one and only reason behind it is due to a severe imbalance between energy intake & expenditure (ex. people are just eating far too much and/or moving far too little & unfortunately these days is just too easy to get fat)
