Fusion Dance NYC Dedicated to building the Fusion partner dancing community in NYC. What is Fusion Dance? What music do you play?

Fusion Dance is a genre that combines the many genres of partner dance together on the dance floor to a variety of music. To us, this means breaking down the boundaries between dance forms to allow us to pick and choose which amongst the many different techniques we wish to employ at any given time. It also means bringing the partner dance community together under one roof to help foster endless p

ossibilities of movement creation. We can honestly say that we play a little of everything! We range from pop, nuevo tango, blues, electronica, latin, swing, folk, soul, r&b, hip hop, & lyrical. Striving for as much variety as possible and keeping you on the dance floor is our goal!

This Friday, come out for our July 10th Melting Pot Fusion Dance, in our NEW, larger Big Apple Ballroom location. We want to keep this studio, with it's strong A/C and gorgeous floor, and excellent sound. We need your help -- all you have to do is show up and help us fill the floor!

The lesson this week will focus on Ballroom Blues connection, which translates well to many closed and close-embrace fusion styles. It should be a lot of fun! Click the link for more details.
