It’s freezing here in Manhattan today! You think as a Swede that I would enjoy the cold weather. Well cold I like; warm fuzzy sweaters and boots, soups and stews yes, skiing and winter sports for sure. Waking up to 13 degrees outside? Not so much! With working virtually I’m not out as much but Beeto still needs to go out for a walk in the morning. I LOVE Beeto but when it’s freezing I’m thinking can’t you just learn to use the bathroom like everyone else? Nope! He wants to sniff every pole, every blade of grass & say hi to everyone. I mean everyone!! It’s lovely in the spring & summer, he is the worlds friendliest dog. Today though he just needs to act like a New Yorker & keep it moving!

Here, some street art, bright colors & sunshine to remind you spring is coming. Change is always on the horizon. Sometimes we need patience. Sometimes you have to take it! Seize your opportunity, seize your time! Have Faith that your breakthrough is coming. Just like the Spring is to come. Faith is something we can always trust in.

As we come to the end of 2021 it’s time to start planning for what’s next. For many it’s the time to get fit. The first week of January is the most crowded week of the year for gyms. Perhaps something exciting is coming; a new job, a move, graduation, marriage or a baby.

What’s next can also be a source of fear & anxiety. When we don’t know or aren’t sure it’s easy to fear the worst. A sense of impending “gloom & doom” is something we have all felt. How will we overcome a real or perceived failure? I have learned how to not succumb to fear. I rely on my Faith in God to carry me.

In the Bible God chose a humble stuttering Moses to lead the Jews out of bo***ge in Egypt. Moses protested being the “chosen one;” more than once. “Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?” We all feel the same when facing a circumstance we fear. Ultimately Moses faithfully said yes to God & fulfilled his purpose in leading the Jews out of bo***ge.

Don’t be fearful of darkness & challenges. Overcome them with Faith in the Lord; He will get us through darkness & into the light. Know God has a plan for you; Your Victory. Your Triumph. Life in Favor! Cover yourself in Faith, Wrap yourself in His promise & keep moving forward!

Isaiah 41:10 NIV
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

I’m in serious need of some cardio today. I made a turkey yesterday that turned out really well. Here is the issue. The smallest turkey I could find was 18lb! Eighteen pounds is great if you are feeding 8 or more people. For Beeto and me that was not the case. So today I will make meals and take them to some of the homeless people that I see daily. After that it will be turkey tacos, turkey chili, turkey cake, turkey pancakes… if you have any ideas or want some turkey let me know! Of course Beeto suggested that he could eat all of it. Enjoy your weekend. I’ll see you tomorrow or later this evening if I get in to the studio.

for all that I have been Blessed with in my life
for family, friends and those no longer here; ohh what times we have had!

for the experiences both good and bad; the growth
for the memories past, present and yet to come

I wasn’t always this strong or limber. Well maybe I was always pretty limber but strong; not so much. I was pretty flexible as a child. Year after year of daily practice and training are very normal for me. That however does not make it easy. It’s the every day routine that leads to success. Focus on making small progress towards your goals daily. This formula works for fitness. It works for goals in life. Don’t get discouraged by how long it will take or by how hard something is to accomplish.
