There is a ton of advice that we could give...
but this reminder from Coach Kevin to "stick to the basics" is spot on.

🚲 Have a solid nutrition and hydration plan that you've vetted and that you can stick to.
🚲 Understand your fitness and start the event in control. Work your way up to higher efforts as you are able.
🚲 Be alert and aware of those around you. Keep your head up and try to learn and gain experience from the event as well as from other participants.

Stick to the sessions that matter most and give yourself permission to skip the rest.

Every training plan has:
✔️ Key sessions that drive adaptation
✔️ Supporting work that builds around them

When time is tight, prioritize what matters most.

You don’t need to check every box to keep progressing; you just need to stay consistent where it counts.
