One of the main reasons I personally started strength training was my diagnosis of osteopenia (precursor to osteoporosis). At age 35 women begin to lose bone mass. One of the best ways to avoid or reverse bone loss is strength training with weight bearing and balance exercises. It's never too late to get started!
