It doesn’t. Fatigue is easy to manufacture. Progress is the hard part, and the two aren’t the same thing.

Here are 5 signs your training is draining you instead of building you:

You’re sore but not stronger. Your lifts haven’t moved in months. You dread your next session. You feel beat up outside the gym. Your sleep and energy keep getting worse.
