So… there has been a lot going on in my life. It’s wild to share that and I are now homeowners and residence of Georgia!
👏🏽👏🏽

It has been a long, crazy, challenging, bittersweet, sacrificial, and exciting journey. I will definitely share more in my stories and post to come.

One thing I’m reflecting on is how I had to let go of the dream I had for myself and accept what God has for me instead, even if I didn’t desire it at first.
Can anyone relate?? 🫣😩😢

I’m proud of my body.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The transformation that a persons body goes through during pregnancy, labor & birth, and postpartum is a true miracle. There is just not enough words to capture all of the journey.
But for me to get to a place where I’m proud of my body took a while.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It has often felt like an uphill marathon to exercise being a new mom. But showing up consistently be it for 5 min, 15 min, or 45 minutes it all adds up and I’m seeing the benefits of my steadfast commitment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of the greatest benefits of exercise that I don’t hear or see being shared as much is the mental and emotional benefits. I can attest to all of these positively impacting my life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Exercising can significantly reduce anxiety, depression, and a negative mood.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It can also improve one’s self esteem, concentration, and alertness.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It has been connected to help with getting better deep sleep. Getting better sleep is connected to all of the things just stated above. It’s all so connected.

Happy Labor Day everyone! As we observe today, take today to rest. Not just from work but rest in the Lord's presence. Let's not get so busy working for the Kingdom that we forget to sit at the Lord's feet.

Choose today to fill up your cup. Today, I will be resting but the rest of this week, I will be preparing for the PurposeFULL retreat this coming weekend! This retreat is for you if:

I’m back in Brooklyn and so excited to be teaching ✌🏽 Zumba classes this week at .maya! This Saturday I’m subbing a class at 10am and also Sunday I’m teaching my class at 12pm 🤗🎶 This isn’t 🙅🏽‍♀️your typical Zumba class: you sweat & you dance! This class is for you if:
