According to the National Human Neural Stem Cell Resource (NHNSCR), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to research in neural stem cells, there are three most effective ways to increase neuroplasticity:

• 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 🏃‍♀
• 𝐂𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 🧠
• 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🧘‍♂
Examples of these exercises include learning to play an instrument or acquiring a new language. But it made me wonder: why isn’t coaching mentioned in this context? 🤔

Transformational coaching fosters greater self-awareness and emotional regulation, helping clients perceive their thoughts and emotions in a new light. Cognitive reframing, a key aspect of coaching, challenges existing neural pathways and promotes neuroplasticity. That’s what transformational coaching is all about! 🌟
