Event Details:
📅 Season: July-August 📍 Locations: VITAL West Harlem & Upper East Side 👥 Team Size: 3 participants

Registration:

Members: $15 per person

Non-Members: $325 per person (Includes 15-visit Punch Pack + Registration)

🏆 Categories:

Novice: V0–V3

Intermediate: V4–V6

Advanced: V7–V9 (Each team member selects their own category.)

Competition Format:
Each round lasts 2 weeks. Your team will submit its top 3 hardest climbs per member in their respective categories.

That’s 9 climbs total per team per round.

Points are awarded by difficulty—equal across all categories.

Teams must climb at both gyms, but your “home turf” must be determined by your team.

Competing solo? You’re not eligible for finals but can still win dope prizes! Free agents looking for a team—email [email protected] or [email protected] and we’ll do our best to match you up.

Earn glory by representing your location and racking up points for your side.

Categories / V-Grade Breakdown:
Category: This will be utilized for the Finals. So please select your category appropriately. Selected categories can be adjusted accordingly if needed.

Novice - V0 - V3

Intermediate V4 - V6

Advance - V7 - V9

Scoring: Choose the Hardest grade (Project Grade) you can climb in two sessions and place yourself in the relative category. Every climber will get to log their three hardest climbs for each round. A round is the two weeks following a set. Team scores will be calculated and posted Weekly.

Example of point system:

V4 Project Grade V4= 100 points V3 = 90 points V2 = 80 points V1 = 70 points

V8 Project Grade V8= 100 points V7 = 90 points V6 = 80 points V5 = 70 points

V5 Project Grade V5=100 V4=90 V3=80 V2=70

The Finals: August 28th @ Upper East Side
Top 3 teams from both West Harlem and UES will face off in an epic final battle at the Upper East Side. Finals Format: 9 fresh climbs on the Front Wall—3 Novice, 3 Intermediate, 3 Advanced.

VITAL West Harlem’s first ever Redline Redpoint is coming April 25th, 2026!

Climb your top 5 hardest sends in a 3 hour session across ~40 competition boulders. Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced, and Open categories. Open competitors advance to finals at 7PM.
