Where are you most productive?

Does your environment affect your focus?

I love libraries. I often plan work sessions with myself there. I also have a little ritual when I’m in a new city: I visit the local library. It gives me a feeling for the local people and the community.

The Gabriel García Márquez Library in Barcelona was spacious, beautifully designed, and super welcoming. I spent some time reading and journaling there.

Do you work in libraries?

What are your favorite places to be productive?

We can all meditate anywhere. 🌿

Over the last two months, I’ve traveled quite a bit and found myself in many different places around the world.

And in between airports, buses, new cities, unfamiliar beds, and busy days, I kept coming back to something very simple: sitting down and taking a moment to connect with myself.

Three breaths.

Just feeling the air move under my nose as I breathe in and out.

Then noticing my feet on the ground.

That’s it.

Simple. Quiet. Centering.

Meditation doesn’t always have to be 20 minutes on a cushion in a perfectly peaceful room. Sometimes, it can be three breaths while sitting in an airport, standing in a new city, or waiting for your coffee.

I hope you remember that you can always come back to yourself, no matter where you are.

Take three breaths.

Feel your feet.

Be here. 🌸

September always feels a little like a fresh beginning.

Summer is winding down, routines are returning, and suddenly there are so many things we could be doing.

But what if, instead of trying to do everything, you created a little space to focus on what actually matters?

That’s what we do inside Focus Lab.

It’s a community for people who want to get things done without constantly rushing, pushing, or doing it all alone.

In September, we’ll have:

✨ Max Meditation, calm your mind, reconnect with yourself, and begin from a place of clarity.

🎯 Focus Days, 4 hours of intentional, concentrated work, with four 50-minute power sessions to move your essential tasks forward.

☕ Focus Hour, pause, reflect on the past month, celebrate what worked, learn from what didn’t, and gently plan what’s next.

📚 Student of the Game, a self-learning session where we learn together and share what we’re discovering.

💛 Community Hangout, because productivity is also about having people to share the journey with.

You don’t have to figure everything out by yourself.

Sometimes, you just need a little structure, a little accountability, and a group of people who are also trying to do meaningful things with their time and energy.

Want to try it?

Your first month in Focus Lab is free.

Come see what happens when you give yourself a little more focus, and a little less pressure.

Planning date with yourself ☕️

At the beginning of the month, take yourself out for coffee or matcha and have a gentle planning session with yourself for September.

Start by identifying your 8 priorities for the month. It can be 5 or 6, too. There is no perfect number.

Start with your personal life. You can do the same exercise for your professional life.

What combination of priorities would make you feel fulfilled at the end of the month?

It could be broad:

Health, Career, Life Partner, Creativity, Study, Service

Or more specific:

Dating, being a good daughter, dancing, doing my taxes, baking one cake.

The second step is to choose 3 priorities you want to focus on and see what small, concrete tasks you can do around them.

Perhaps put them on your calendar. Or simply make your 3 priorities visible somewhere you will see them regularly.

Visibility creates action.

And then... enjoy your pastry. 🥐

Need a little guidance with planning? DM me. I’d love to help.

What is the difference between motivation and intention?

I loved this distinction I came across while reading "The Journey of Psychosynthesis" by Will Parfitt.

We use these two words quite naturally in everyday life, but I loved noticing the subtle difference between them, and where each one seems to come from.

Motivation comes from our reaction to the outside world.

It can be shaped by our fears, desires, expectations, conditioning, or the different parts of us that want something.

Intention, on the other hand, comes from a deeper connection to ourselves.

I think of it this way:

Motivation asks:
“What do I want because of what is happening around me?”

Intention asks:
“What is truly important to me here?”

And this distinction can be quite beautiful to explore.

For example, I might be motivated to make more money because I’m comparing myself to someone else, feeling behind, or afraid that I’m not doing enough.

But underneath that motivation, my deeper intention might simply be to create more freedom, security, creativity, or spaciousness in my life.

When we discover the deeper intention, we may realize there are many ways to fulfill it.

I don’t necessarily need this particular thing.
I may be longing for what I believe this thing will give me.

So lately, I’ve been playing with a little pause before I act:

What is motivating me right now?
And what is my deeper intention?

Maybe slowing down gives us enough space to notice the difference.

And perhaps that little bit of space is where a more conscious choice can begin. 🌱

How do you unwind at the end of day?

Please share, I am looking for ideas outside of watching TV? Nothing wrong with it in moderation; I am curious what else is out there 🥰✨

I’m hosting Max Meditation System™ online this September, and I’d love to have you join me.

One hour to slow down, breathe, quiet the noise, and come back to yourself.

Max Meditation is a guided meditation system that brings together ancient meditation practices from India and Tibet with modern psychological tools. The practice moves through five stages, relaxation, breathing, passive meditation, active meditation, and guided visualization, so you don't have to know how to meditate or wonder whether you are “doing it right.”

For me, meditation has always been less about escaping life and more about creating enough inner space to meet life differently.

When the mind is constantly busy, everything can feel urgent. When we slow down, we can sometimes hear what was underneath all that noise.

What are your top 3 priorities for the next month?

And please, don't say “everything.” 😊

I know. There are emails, errands, projects, people who need you, things you promised yourself you would finally do, and that one thing you've been moving from one to-do list to another for the past three weeks.

But if you pause for a moment and ask yourself, What are the 3 things that really matter to me right now? What comes up?

Now the next question is: When are you actually going to give them your attention?

Because knowing your priorities is one thing. Creating the space to work on them is another.

This is why I created Focus Hour: one gentle, intentional hour to step away from the noise, choose what matters, and actually focus.

No pressure to be super productive. No gold stars for finishing 47 things.

Just one hour, your priorities, and a little bit of accountability from a room full of people doing the same.

Join me for Focus Hour on August 29.

Bring your top 3 priorities. And if you don't know what they are yet, come anyway. We can figure it out together. 🤍

What are your top 3 priorities?

Tell me one in the comments, maybe writing it down is the first step.

DM for the link for Focus Hour! First time is FREE.
