Dom Scala Baseball "If your child is serious about the game of Baseball I guarantee this is the camp for you”

- Dom Scala

At Dom Scala Baseball, we believe that instruction and repetition are the key to reaching a higher level in competitive play. With this philosophy we aim to create more complete and refined athletes. Most coaches today are parents or volunteers who have only the best intentions, but it’s hard to know the fine points of the game. There are basic fundamentals that everyone must learn and conquer, an

d we believe that creating a solid foundation is how to create stronger players. Covering all aspects of the game from pitching mechanics and batting to running for speed, your child will grow to reach their full potential during their time at Dom Scala Baseball camps. Our instructors are conditioned to refine their skills and strengthen their weaknesses while making sure they are having fun while doing so. Dom, a former coach for the New York Yankees and current head coach at Adelphi University, draws upon his 35 years of professional experience as both a player and a coach. "The knowledge I have gained from some of the greatest Major League players, managers and coaches that have influenced my career is immeasurable, and I look forward to sharing that with your child”, says Scala.

Easier said than done. If IKF takes this lead in GM 7 he most likely scores & Blue Jays are Champions. However, u cannot blame one player for a loss. So many things happen in a game. He is normally a very good baserunner. The Dodgers were a very resilient team in the playoffs & series.

Baseball is truly a game of inches. Blue Jays just witnessed it. Watch IKF in this video at 3rd. In my opinion he could have gotten a bigger “walking lead”. He is flat footed when the pitch was thrown. Rule of thumb is u take as much as 3rd basemen gives u. Just an incredible finish to a great World Series.

One of his favorites. For his effort at camp this was his reward from Papa. So proud of this young boy.

Over the years I run into many kids that have gone through my baseball camps. A few days ago I went to play golf & randomly hooked up with a 3 some. As we were teeing off Anthony Inserelli (taller kid) said you are Dom Scala right” I said yes. He said Anthony Gallo (also pictured)& I went to your camp 20 years ago. We both loved your camps & still love baseball. Both now work for the city in sanitation & fire department. We had a blast & so happy that they are both doing well. Brings joy to me that I was part of their lives & they are doing well.

Dom Scala Baseball has concluded for summer 2025. What a way to end with a feel good story. Over 225 kids went through my camp the past 4 weeks. However today was a great day for our family. I can’t tell you how proud I am of my 5 year old grandson Jackson. He came to my boot camp in 90-95 degree heat for 2 weeks. Not easy by no means. More importantly he has fallen in love with baseball. I didn’t force him to come. He just wanted to. The award u see pictured is the IABF MVP of his group. Voted by his coaches. He played well for a first timer but more importantly he listened, hustled all over the field & the coaches only had to tell him once to do something & he did it. He carried his own bag, put his equipment on & off & made some cool friends. I can tell u I was totally surprised by this because he didn’t have any interest in baseball. Now he is sad that it ended. I guess my camps are as good as they say. LOL

Jaxy first visit to OLMC feast. I explained to him that this was a place that I grew up in then we took a picture at the Giglio where I used to dance it with all my friends. We also made a stop at the legendary Joey Dee’s Zeppoli‘s and Vinny‘s sausage and peppers stand. They have both been there since I was a 10 year old boy. And it’s still the best. He won two prizes and said one is for my sister Lake. That was a sweet gesture. Next first will be my baseball camp Monday.🤞🤞

A very underrated player back in the 80’s. Played the game the right way. No nonsense & passionate. A warrior that do it all. Enjoyed watching him play against us. Taken way too soon. RIP

A friend sent this to me. I remember that day like it was yesterday. What a feeling seeing people hanging out of windows & light poles. Standing with my future wife Yolanda & my great friend Buck Dent the hero of that year. He would also be the guy to present me with my championship ring. So grateful to be part of history. Being a World Champion cannot be taken away from my legacy.
