Baby Dunk

Serving the youth one Dunk at a time. We aim to prove these statistics wrong by fostering a healthy generation.

Baby Dunk is a youth sports program serving children ages 10-15 whose mission is to promote youth engagement in sports, physical activity and healthy eating. We aim to give our children the confidence and knowledge to be successful in their adult lives by providing a safe and positive atmosphere outside of school hours. Unlike traditional structured basketball programs, Baby Dunk allows youth to

publicly showcase their own individual skills by dunking the ball, while fostering teamwork and good sportsmanship. The Bronx is the county in New York State with the highest percentage of the population at or living below the federal poverty level, the highest percentage of high school dropouts and is ranked by the Robert Wood Johnson County Health Ranking Report as number 62 out of New York State’s 62 counties. Halftime is renamed as ‘Health Time’ during games, featuring a short healthy lifestyle habits education session including physical activity and healthy eating information for all ages.
