What a phenomenal season finale! 🥳 We are incredibly proud to celebrate our team’s spectacular effort at the final race, securing 5th place in the sports division with both of our boats leaving it all out there. This season was defined by your dedication, your incredible team spirit, and the early-morning sacrifices you all made.

From the rookie to the veteran, thank you, thank you, thank you. You are the heart of this team. We couldn't ask for a more dedicated group of athletes. And to our phenomenal coaches: your wisdom and support are our driving force. Thank you for navigating us through every stroke and sprint.

The best part? The countdown to our 30th Anniversary season has officially begun! We are so ready for a big year. We're challenging ourselves to an intense off-season to ensure we hit new personal and team records. Get ready to level up! Let's make our 30th year the absolute best. Bring on the hard work! 🔥

Who are we? Xtremeeeee 🥳🥳😎😎 We’re actively preparing for the upcoming race in Rhode Island! 🏝️ This will be our first time racing at the beautiful Blackstone River Valley. We heard it’s a race with traditional dragonboats and the drummer will need to grab a flag to score points! Seems like besides working on our paddling skills, we’ll also need to train our hand eye coordination for it! We’re excited to !

We did it. Silver 🥈 in the USDBOC OPEN Division.

For the first time in our 29-year history, Xtreme decided to step up and race in the Open Division at the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival - New York. We knew it would be a challenge, but we faced it head-on. With a lineup of 9 women and 11 men, we went stroke for stroke against 20-man crews and earned a medal.
This isn’t just silver; it’s a medal forged from grit, hunger, and pure teamwork. Every single one of us dug deep and left it all on the water.

Thank you to coaches for believing in us and pushing us to be our best. And to Mae, our incredible drummer, for being the energy and rhythm that guided our boat to the finish line. We couldn’t have done it without you.

This is a moment we’ll never forget. 🚣‍♀️🚣‍♂️

🛶 We’re more than just paddles in sync! Our team, along with many NYC dragonboat teams, recently partnered with the awesome to clear out weeds and create a fantastic viewing area for the upcoming NYC Dragon Boat Festival on August 8th & 9th. 💪 Teamwork makes the dream work, both on and off the water, and we’re so proud to contribute to our NYC community. Let’s make this year’s festival the best one yet! See you there!

Alright. Here’s our weekly recap. We first went through some of the first days of “☀️🔥🥵🔥☀️” of the season on Saturday and got some beautiful 😎, then on the following day, we were greeted by a 🌩️ and 💨🌬️☔️🌧️. Despite ALL of that 🤯😳🥺😱🫠🫣 weather, everybody felt like it was all 🌈 and ☀️, because we all ❤️🐉🛶 and we all 🫶🏻🥰 hang out with each other 💃🏻🕺🪩

Happy Father’s Day! 🥳🥳 Thank you for taking care of all the troublemaking kids/ kidults on the team. We all know that “they” are difficult to handle 😆😆😆jkjk love y’all! 🤗🤗🥳🥳🥰🥰

P.S. Father’s Day celebrations (or the pouring rain 🌧️ ) did not get into the way of practices. In fact, it was lovely to see the family (grandparents, and sons/ daughters) showing up today to show their affection! ❤️❤️

Sunshine & paddles up! ☀️ So grateful to be back on the water as the weather warms up in NYC. This year has brought challenges to the dragon boat community, but we‘re thankful for every moment we get to pursue our passion. Sending strength and positive vibes to all our fellow paddlers!
